Boeing CEO says planemaker could be forced to cancel 737 MAX 10
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Boeing Chief Executive Dave Calhoun told Aviation Week in an interview that the planemaker could be forced to cancel the 737 Max 10 over potential regulatory issues. Boeing has a December deadline to win approval for the 737 MAX 10 – the largest member of its best-selling single-aisle airplane family.

Cost of flights to ‘inevitably’ rise as fuel prices soar, says aviation boss
The cost of flying will increase as fuel prices continue to rise, said Willie Walsh, director general of the International Air Transport Association (Iata). “Flights are getting more expensive because of the high price of oil and it’s becoming clear to everybody that that will be reflected in higher ticket prices,” Mr Walsh told the BBC Sunday Morning programme on 10 July.

Boeing to Showcase Newest Jets and Advances in Sustainable and Autonomous Aviation…
Boeing will fly the newest and largest members of its 737 MAX and 777X airplane families at the Farnborough International Airshow this month and present new tools in the push toward more sustainable and autonomous flight. The 737-10, making its international debut, will join the 777-9 in the daily flying and static display.

Singapore Airlines operates first blended sustainable aviation fuel flights
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), Singapore Airlines (SIA), and GenZero, an investment platform wholly-owned by Temasek that is dedicated to accelerating decarbonisation globally, have embarked on the next phase of the Singapore pilot with the delivery of blended Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to Changi Airport via the airport’s fuel hydrant system on 7 July 2022.
